We recognize that families with children and youth with disabilities or special health care needs do not always have the luxury of attending conferences and workshops. In an effort to provide alternative learning and networking opportunities, the Parents’ Place hosts conference calls about topics of interest to families and our professional partners. Participants can join the call using a toll-free number and conference pass code, which is provided with your registration. Teleconferences are listed on our Training Calendar and announced in our email newsletter.
Each 1 to 1 1/2-hour call features a speaker, knowledgeable about a particular topic, who gives a presentation, followed by a question and answer period. Audio files (MP3) for past calls are linked below.
The Parents’ Place welcomes your ideas! If you have a topic you’d like to hear about, or a speaker to suggest, please e-mail: info@ppmd.org.
