A training program for Title IV consumer/provider teams

What is this training about?

The Working Together training is designed for RWCA Title IV providers and consumers to learn about the best practices for the employment of consumers as staff. Participants will gain skills to:

This training will help consumer and provider teams to:

The training offers a variety of pair and small group work; general discussions; case studies; real life examples; and practical strategies. These seminars venture beyond the basics by exploring the roles of consumers and providers as colleagues in the work setting and provide many useful tools and resources to take back to your program.

Who should attend?

Consumer/ provider teams from RWCA Title IV programs who would like to learn more about best practices in the employment of consumer staff. Consumers and providers who are not part of a team may apply for the training. If space is available, their applications will be considered

When and where?

The training will be held in the Washington DC area. Travel, hotel, and meals are provided. Dates to be announced. Please contact Yvonne@ppmd.org for more information.
