Too often, people with autism are depicted as broken, intellectually disabled, and unable to benefit from inclusion in typical community life or classrooms.
JOIN US FOR A FREE WORKSHOP to learn about new and positive ways to view and engage those with autism; tips for successful inclusion; and strategies to support communication, social relationships, and parent advocacy.

The presenters, all experts in the field, will share stories and practical strategies for students of all ages. They will discuss the importance of presuming and constructing competence, viewing all students’ gifts and talents, the research and social justice rationales for inclusive education, strategies for supporting students’ active participation in natural settings, and the importance of giving all those with autism a way to communicate.
