Behavior Management at Home
Effective home behavior management strategies for use with elementary age children and teens will be discussed. Emphasis will be on how to effectively improve your child’s behavior at home. Ways to increase cooperation, foster prosocial behavior and promote positive family interactions will be explored.

Tourette Syndrome and Tics: Effective Treatment Strategies for Children and Teens
Tourette Syndrome or Tics in children and teens is fairly common but can fluctuate in their occurrence and
severity over time making them hard to diagnosis and treat. This workshop will provide education on the
identification, assessment and evidence-based treatment of tics. Families will learn what they can do to assist
their child and teen to manage their tics and obtain treatment, if necessary or desired.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in Children, Teens and Their Families: Effective
Strategies to Win Against the OCD “Bully”
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in a child can create extreme challenges for children, teens and their
families. Often, we find that other family members have it, as well. This workshop will discuss how to recognize
OCD, how to manage day to day difficulties when OCD is present at home and school; and, treatment
strategies to “fight back” and overcome OCD.
