Parent Workshop: ADHD-In School and Beyond
September 23 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
Often, when a child is diagnosed with ADHD, the first response from his or her concerned parent is, “What can I do about it?” Although life with your child may at times seem challenging, it is important to remember that children with ADHD can and do succeed.
This workshop explains how ADHD impacts children and teens beyond impulsivity, hyperactivity and inattentiveness and gives you the tools and strategies you need to be an effective, informed advocate for your child.
Join us for a FREE 2 hour workshop on Wednesday, September 23, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Speaker: Missy Alexander, Parent Educator for Southern Maryland at The Parents’ Place of Mary-land, has more than 17 years experience helping families navigate the special education system.
