Renowned special educator and speaker, Rick Lavoie, will be presenting a 4 hour workshop beginning with an exploration of some of the common misconceptions related to motivation and some of the approaches that are simply ineffective.  Specific strategies will be presented that will enable teachers and parents to motivate children and maintain that motivation throughout the year.  Participants will be served lunch and receive a copy of Mr. Lavoie’s book, Motivation Breakthrough.
