Tech, Transitioning Youth, and Success in the “Real World”

March 8 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

TECH, TRANSITIONING YOUTH, AND SUCCESS IN THE “REAL WORLD”

When: Sunday, March 8, 2020 2:30-4:00pm
Where: HCLS Elkridge Library, Hockley Room, 6540 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075

If you have or had an IEP and are age 14-24, then this workshop is for you! The “Real World” of adult rights and responsibilities requires that YOU speak up for your wants and needs. This can be hard when you have a disability. Come discover how assistive technology can help you make your dreams your reality, try out the tech, and learn how you can get your own. This workshop is intended for individuals with disabilities ages 14-24, and their families or support staff.

For more information, contact Audrey at 443 713-3915 or asellers@arinow.org. Registration deadline is 3/5. Sponsored by Accessible Resources for Independence and the National Council on Independent Living.
