Rebecca is a military spouse who relocated to the Eastern Shore over seven years ago following her husband’s retirement from the U.S. Air Force. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and brings a professional background in inclusive early childhood education and caregiving. As a mother of three children—two of whom are neurodivergent, and one who lives with both medical and learning disabilities—Rebecca has firsthand experience navigating the joys and challenges of parenting within both the military and local communities. Rebecca is passionate about raising awareness, connecting families with resources, and empowering parents to confidently advocate for their children. Her personal experiences in the mental health field have also given her insight into supporting and navigating care for loved ones with both physical and mental health needs. With her foundation in caregiving, her understanding of military life, and her dedication to inclusive education, Rebecca is driven to make a meaningful impact in her community by fostering support, connection, and empowerment for families.
