Information about the health care system, resources, and advocacy for families of children and youth with special health needs and disabilities.

Maryland Family Voices

Maryland Family Voices shares information about changes in public and private sector health care and issues that affect children and families.

B’More LEADers

Leadership training program for parents of children with disabilities in Baltimore City. B’More LEADers volunteers help parents through the IEP process.

Multicultural Services

Bilingual (Spanish) workshops and staff focusing on issues facing families from diverse backgrounds.

Families as Faculty

Program promotes family leadership skills and professional learning opportunities for future doctors and allied health professionals that prepare them to work in partnerships with families of to improve services, systems and outcomes for children and youth with special health care needs.

Maryland Health LEADers

Leadership training program for parents of children with special health care needs. Parents can use their experience and expertise to influence change in health care policy.

Community of Care

State Implementation Grant for Integrated Community Systems for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Joint to implement strategies aimed at achieving an integrated, community-based system of services for children and youth with special health care needs.
