Pre-Guiding the Journey: Preparing for Life After High School

For families with 14-year-olds!

Do you have a child who is 14? Does the thought of your child’s life after school make you nervous? Do you want to start planning for the transition process but not sure where to start? Don’t worry, we can help!

During this virtual training, families will:

• Understand their changing role;
• Learn about IEP Transition Planning;
• Learn about creating a vision* and transition action plan for your youth;
• And so much more…

*Charting the LifeCourse Tools will be used.

Important Dates

• Application due: April 3, 2026
• Orientation: April 23, 2026 12-1 pm or 7-8 pm
• Training: May 2 and 9, 2026 9:30 am – 12:30 pm (Must attend all sessions and one orientation session)
• Optional Networking Session: May 5, 2026 6-7pm
