Angela “Angie” Leilich is a dedicated Family Partner – Education Specialist with The Parents’ Place of Maryland, bringing over 15 years of experience across special education, behavioral education, general education, and the private sector. Her work is deeply rooted in advocacy, compassion, and a commitment to empowering families and children to thrive. In addition to her professional background, Angie served for 13 years as a foster parent with the Department of Social Services, where she provided care for drug-exposed newborns and children with complex needs, including Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. This hands-on experience has shaped her unique ability to support families with empathy, insight, and real-world understanding. Angie holds an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology and is passionate about helping families navigate educational systems while building confidence and independence. Her greatest joy is seeing the students and families she has supported—past and present—achieve success and reach their full potential.
