Anne Marie brings more than eight years of experience in human services, driven by both professional expertise and lived experience with mental health and substance use disorders—both personally and through supporting loved ones. This dual perspective fuels a deep passion for helping others navigate challenges related to mental health, substance use disorders, homelessness, and education around the Good Samaritan Law. A native of New Jersey, where her daughter and granddaughters still reside, she now calls Maryland’s Eastern Shore home, where she has developed a strong connection to the community she serves. Her dedication to uplifting others and empowering individuals in recovery has earned her notable recognition, including the Ginger Rosella Award (2022) and the Caliber Award for Empowerment of Consumers from the Maryland State Behavioral Health Administration (2023). Whether providing direct support, advocating for awareness and prevention, or educating communities, Anne Marie remains committed to fostering hope, dignity, and change for those facing life’s most difficult challenges.
