Family-to-Family Health Information Center

The Parents’ Place Family-to-Family Health Information Center (F2F HIC) provides a central source for families of children and young adults with disabilities and special health care needs to obtain support, advocacy, and information about health care. We have a strong commitment to promoting and supporting the needs of families from racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse communities.

The F2F HIC promotes family and professional partnerships. Family involvement is vital to the care of children with special healthcare needs. While professionals can provide support and expertise, families possess their own unique knowledge and expertise about their child/ren. Teamwork and cooperation among families and health care professionals are essential to providing quality care and better outcomes for a child or a young adult
