Baby LEADers
Apply by February 18th, 2022 to be part of PPMD’s VIRTUAL Baby LEADers training program. This
FREE training is for parents/guardians of children ages birth‐5 whose child has a
suspected or diagnosed developmental delay or disability. The program includes topics
such as:
– Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
– Transition from early intervention services to special education
– Individualized Education Program (IEP)
– Developmental milestones
– Leadership and advocacy
All sessions will be held online via Zoom.

Participants must be able to attend all five sessions and an orientation webinar;
networking sessions are optional but highly recommended.

SERC Webinar – Bullying, Harassment & Intimidation of Students with Disabilities
One out of five students report being bullied. Students with disabilities are 2 to 3 times more likely to be bullied than their non-disabled peers. This presentation will begin with an overview of federal and state laws and regulations, guidance from federal government, and policies about bullying, harassment, and intimidation. Participants will then learn tips and strategies to address this issue in the home, school, community.
